Application Dates and Deadlines

Creighton’s undergraduate application opens on August 1 for the following academic year. Complete your application early for the best scholarship eligibility. See below for a full breakdown of undergraduate admission dates and deadlines.

Undergraduate Admission Dates

All dates apply to the following academic year. For example, for students entering Creighton in fall 2025, the application will open August 1, 2024.

August 1

• Application for fall admission opens.

November 1

• Early Action application deadline: Submit an Application for Undergraduate Admission and all required credentials to the Office of Admissions to receive an admissions decision by December 15. All decisions are non-binding.

December 1

• Priority deadline for scholarship consideration: Submit an Application for Undergraduate Admission and all required credentials to the Office of Admissions to receive priority scholarship consideration. Students must also apply for admission by this date in order to be able to apply for honors and leadership programs and additional scholarship opportunities.

January 1

• Submission period for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) opens (open through April 30). Use the prior year tax information. Creighton's school code number is 002542.

January 10

• Applications and all supporting materials for additional scholarship opportunities and honors and leadership programs due at midnight.

February 1

• Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) Preferred Deadline to be considered for the maximum amount of need-based aid (Creighton, federal, state and private).

March 15

• Deadline for scholarship consideration: Submit an Application for Undergraduate Admission and all required credentials to the Office of Admissions by this date to receive general merit scholarship consideration. Scholarships are awarded on a rolling basis after this date.

April 1

• International students: Submit an Application for Undergraduate Admission and all required credentials to the Office of Admissions by this date to receive scholarship consideration.

May 1

• Class reservation response deadline — reserve your spot at Creighton in your Student Portal.

Admission Dates for Undergraduate Transfer Students

We encourage students looking to transfer for the fall semester to complete their application by July 1. This will allow ample time to receive an admission and financial aid decision and work with your academic advisor on a class schedule that will set you up for success in the fall semester. We will still accept applications, on a space-available basis, after July 1.

The priority deadline for spring transfer students is December 1 of the prior year. We will still accept applications, on a space-available basis, after December 1, keeping in mind the first day of class in January.
